AS SIMON Gittany was found guilty of throwing his former fiance, Lisa Harnum, off their Sydney CBD apartment balcony, his current girlfriend wailed uncontrollably.
In a fit of rage, Gittany picked up Ms Harnum and threw her 15 floors to her death on the morning of July 30, 2011.
Justice Lucy McCallum said: "I am satisfied beyond reasonable doubt that the accused... unloaded her over the edge."
His current girlfriend Rachelle Louise screamed "You're wrong! You're wrong!" in the court as stoned-faced Gittany, 40, listened to Justice McCallum read the verdict. Gittany then turned and whispered to the emotional Ms Louise: "I love you, baby".
As she was removed from the court by Corrective Services members, the 24-year-old yelled: ''What are you going to do? Put your hand over my mouth?"
